[My] job as their mom is to make sure that they stick to their routine and that they're healthy and happy."

She emphasized her commitment to facilitating the children's relationship with their father, stating, "Every time he asks, I will always let them see their father. That's just who I am." Kim delved deeper into the reasons behind her decision to end the marriage, revealing that Ye's behavior, particularly his negativity towards her loved ones and children, was a significant factor. She said, "There was just a lot of things that I wouldn't deal with. I didn't like the feeling of someone talking bad about my kids, grandmother, aunts — all of those feelings. If someone feels that way, then we shouldn't be together."
She also shared a specific instance where Ye's actions caused her to feel unsafe, emotionally. She recalled an incident where he gifted away their collection of five Lamborghinis, which was part of a pattern of behavior. Ye's "episodes," stemming from his mental health struggles, created an unstable environment, leaving Kim feeling anxious and uncertain. She stated, "You never know what you're going to get when you wake up, and that's a really unsettling feeling. Lack of stability was a big thing."
And this is the part most people miss... Ultimately, Kim prioritized her own mental health and the well-being of her children. She made the difficult decision to end the marriage to be a better mother, believing that her children would eventually understand her choices. She explained, "Once my mental health starts to get affected and I can't parent the way I need to and I can't be present or focused, there's got to be one of us that can. I had to save myself to be a better mom, and I think that when everyone's older, they'll be able to see it and understand it all."
