THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This movie focuses mainly on Motoko's subconscious needs of feeling human by pursuing romantic relationships. I found it a tad bit more boring than the previous movies maybe due to the lack of action. Akira though was quite the peculiar character that I wanted to be more fleshed out. Though it would have been hard to do for such a support character in an hour long movie. Also, the animation quality was really bad, fluctuating from okay to horrible frequently.
